Yesterday was our marathon write-in-motion event. I got 11k words done which is 1k less than last year. The first thing our ML did was show me the chart from last year where I blew everyone out of the water with my total. It made me smile. Yep, that's write. I've written every day for the last 100 days!

And every single day except last Sunday I wrote over 1000 words (Sunday I wasn't feeling too great and wrote 919 words).

My total for the year is a little over 212,000 words.

So to start off the 750 words thing I ended up writing 1276 words of SG-1 fic. I think it might be chapter one in a longer story. I started it with an idea for a prompt at writerverse but then Sam and Daniel started chatting and things went off in another direction. I shall see where they take me.

That's a pretty good start to the new year, no?
